Pine Tar Natural Soap

I stumbled upon this by accident. Originally I had only a sample of pine tar soap that came with a previous order. My daughter who has very sensitive skin had an awful poison ivy rash that was worsening by the day regardless of how many otc creams we tried. Usually I end up having to get in to the doctor for a steroid pill because it’s spreads so bad she can’t even sleep. I had this random thought to try this soap as a last resort before we went to see the doctor. I knew nothing about the soap other than its very earthy smell and figured there was something in it that might calm the reaction. She washed with the soap and within an hour the heat was dramatically reduced as was the swelling. It wasn’t itching her constantly. Within a few days of washing with it morning and evening, the rash was nearly gone. Now she has only some small scarring. I immediately ordered three bars to keep in the medicine cabinet and my husband who loves the smell ended up taking one for personal use. Thanks Tammy!

I used to use a ‘store brand’ pine tar soap (Dr…..) Not only did it not have a great smel, the soap would make a mess leaving behind black residue every where. Love the scent of Tammy’s pine tar, great lather and a great price
