Organic Grass fed tallow is a deeply nourishing whole ingredient. It is ultra-rich in the same kinds of lipids that are found naturally in youthful, healthy looking skin.
Jojoba oil is an amazing moisturizer and absorbs into the skin much the way natural sebum does. Because it resembles natural sebum and helps regulate oil production. Jojoba is great for oily, dry, and normal skin (or for those times when the skin is all three at once!).
Mango butter for its moisturizing essential fatty acids. It’s rich in oleic acid, a mono-unsaturated omega-9 acid; and stearic acid, a saturated fatty acid. These are ingredients that the skin readily recognizes, takes up, and uses to help add moisture to the skin and tightens and firms.
Beeswax creates a barrier which helps to seal moisture into the skin. This barrier also helps to protect the skin from environmental toxins and irritants. Unlike petroleum jelly, which is used in a large variety of beauty products, beeswax will not “suffocate” the skin, but rather, allow it to breathe while still providing a protective barrier.
Vitamin E oil works to block free radicals from the body, which play a large part in the aging process.
Frankincense essential oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits making it great for acne-prone skin. It is also a natural toner, decreasing the appearance of pores and evening skin-tone. It encourages new cell growth, helping to tighten skin and reduce wrinkles and the appearance of scars.
Myrrh essential oil has strong anti-inflammatory properties that help improve skin tone, firmness, and skin elasticity, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Lavender essential oil helps regenerate skin cells so is great for mature skin, sun spots, and scarring.
Ylang ylang essential oil helps to control oil production and minimize breakouts. It also helps regenerate skin cells, smoothing fine lines and improving skin elasticity.
